⚠️ Important — Before You Arrive

🛒 No grocery store on the island. Please bring all food, drinks, and supplies for your entire stay before boarding the ferry.

No gas station on the island. Make sure your vehicle is fueled up before you board in Steilacoom.

Plan ahead — the nearest stores and fuel are in Steilacoom or surrounding areas on the mainland.

⛴️ Pierce County Ferry

The ferry runs between Steilacoom and Anderson Island (with stops at Ketron Island). Always check the current schedule before heading to the dock.

Please complete the following before you leave. Thank you for taking care of our home!

🏠 General

  • Take all garbage/recycle items home with you
  • Take home any leftovers
  • Vacuum common areas (and bedrooms if used)
  • Turn off all lights
  • Unplug electronics and lamps
  • Close and lock all windows and doors
  • If anything breaks or needs attention, please let us know

🍳 Kitchen

  • Wipe down counters and sink
  • Run the dishwasher
  • Clean out coffee grounds from the coffee maker
  • Clean the air fryer (if used)
  • Ensure appliances are turned off and unplugged

🛏️ Bedrooms & Laundry

  • Remove bedding sheets
  • Place sheets in the washing machine (do not start load)
  • Check closets and drawers for personal items

🚪 Final Walk-Through

  • Confirm trash, food, and personal items are removed
  • Confirm lights are off and electronics are unplugged
  • Lock up and secure the home
